At Mellulah we believe that food and nutrition are vital to overall health and wellbeing, all our meals are home made and where ever possible locally sourced from farms and producers in and around the area. The majority of food & drink, fruit and vegetables that we source, are from Steeptonbill Farm Shop in Milton Abbas.
Let us spoil you and give you a break from the chores with food & drink that will feed your soul. Breakfast, lunch and evening supper are included in the cost of your retreat. Half board options are available and include breakfast and lunch only, evening meals can be cooked yourself in your fully equipped self catering cottage.
Morning Satsang Meditation is followed with a refreshing cup of home made Chai tea and begins each day with a feeling of stillness and connectedness with your fellow retreat guests. Breakfast will be left in your cottage kitchen for you to eat when you wish along with a variety of Pukka Teas. Gluten, dairy, wheat-free options are always available when requested prior to the retreat.
Lunch is delicious, lovingly prepared, made soup, leek and potato, carrot and coriander, seasonal vegetable, mushroom to name a few.
Evenings meals are eaten together as a group, they are vegetarian and all diets can be catered for on request. Our caterer takes much of her inspiration for food & drink at Mellulah, from Indian and Ayurvedic recipes, desserts are often very indulgent and all meals are served with fresh locally baked bread.
Our evenings are always a wonderful end to a day of chilling; a time to spend with like-minded souls, laughing and sharing before enjoying a good night’s rest.
